Terms of use

These terms apply to the free PropDingo website and its property-research connection for ChatGPT or Claude, operated by Akshat Patel. Questions: apate934@gmail.com.

What the service does

PropDingo provides informational, source-linked first-pass research about Australian property. It matches an address and queries supported public data; ChatGPT or Claude presents and may extend that information. Availability, depth, source currency and accuracy vary by location and provider. The service does not issue a complete property report or a clearance of the legal parcel.

Important limits

Results are not legal, conveyancing, financial, valuation, planning, insurance, building, pest or environmental advice. They are not a substitute for a contract review, title and easement search, council/property certificate, current hazard assessment or physical inspection. A map point that does not intersect a layer is not proof a property is unaffected. A source may be incomplete, outdated or unavailable; AI assistants can also make mistakes. Confirm material claims with the original authority and qualified professionals before making a decision.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and for genuine property research. Do not send unnecessary personal information, abuse the public endpoint, evade rate limits, or present an unchecked guide as an official property record. You are responsible for what you submit through ChatGPT or Claude and for how you use the resulting information.

Availability and changes

The service is currently free and may change, pause or stop, including when upstream services or usage limits change. We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. If a change materially affects use, review the current terms before continuing.

Liability and your rights

We take reasonable care but cannot promise uninterrupted service or that every public record is complete or correct. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of an incomplete or inaccurate first-pass result. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

See our Privacy policy for how addresses and technical data are handled.
